My goal is to help you get the most out of your relationship and to learn how to use your conflicts with your partner as portals into greater connection and wholeness.
I graduated with a Masters Degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University. I'm a Virginia, New Jersey and New York Licensed Professional Counselor. In 2010, I completed my training in Imago Couples therapy and have also received extensive training in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). I've been treating individuals and couples, and helping people improve their relationships, for over ten years. Prior to opening my private practice, I provided individual, couple and group therapy at Bellevue Hospital Center’s WTC EHC Mental Health Program in New York City.
My approach centers around helping you access your innate strength and resilience while helping you decrease self and relationship-sabotaging behaviors. By becoming more aware of your outdated survival strategies, learning practical and effective communication tools, and tuning-in to your own untapped inner resources, I help you explore and understand your emotional challenges in a safe, supportive environment. Our collaboration can help you unlock your potential individually and as a couple, allowing you to find healing and enjoy life more fully.
I'm a member of the AEDP Institute, the American Counselors Association, and IRI and MAIT.
